Announcements for April 30, 2015

There will be a student advisory meeting today in the Bio lab at 11:45am.

Report Card distribution will take place tomorrow.  Grade 11s and 12s will take place at 2:15 in the Library and Theatre and at 3:20 for Gr 9s and 10s, also in the library and Theatre.

A new club has started and it’s called movie club.  It’s a club for those who want to be actors.  Movie club is not where we watch movies, we make movies, play games and have lots of fun.  Please see the front link or the office if you would like to sign up.  It will begin on Monday, May 4th from noon until 1 on Mondays and Fridays.  Please see Colin Block for more details.

Please contact Mrs. Palmer if you are interested in volunteering to repaint a mural at Strathmillan Elementary School.  Volunteer hours are available.

Anyone wanting to compete in Track & Field, please meet in Gym C tomorrow at lunch.

Do you need community service hours or do you just want to make a difference in your community?
With the Spring weather now here, it is once again time for the Assiniboia Community Clean Up.
This year, there will be two clean ups hosted by MLA Jim Rondeau.  The first will take place on Monday, May 4th and again on Thursday, May 7th from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. on each day.  Students interested in volunteer hours can sign up by calling the office at 888-7722 to get more information. Clean up supplies will be provided and a bbq will follow on both dates.

All boys who signed up for outdoor soccer, there will be a practice Monday May 4  at  3:30 pm

Reminder to all JT Grads 2015 - Cap and Gown rentals are $25 and due tomorrow.
John Taylor Collegiate is now open to receiving online payments for Grad Cap and Gown 2015.   Please visit the John Taylor Website and click on Grad 2015.  All the information you need regarding grad will be there.

Grad dinner tickets will also be available for online purchase in the near future. Please see the school website and listen for synervoice messages for updates.

• Those who have indicated their intention to apply their education in the inner-city upon graduation.

Grads – Did you hand your forms into the office that you received at the last Grade Level Meeting? Thank you to those who already submitted their forms.

A notice to all staff and students.  Bells for class change will not be active during AP exams all next week.  As well, announcements will not be made over the PA system.  However….
