Congratulations to James Wagner, who was chosen as AAAA all Manitoba team and Mr. Kavadas for being recognized for 15 years of dedicated coaching at the Basketball Manitoba Awards ceremony Saturday afternoon.

All grade 12's interested in being this year's valedictorian please speak to Mr Marquart ASAP about the process and due dates.

A reminder, girls soccer is EVERY TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 3:45pm.  Meet just outside of gym C and be prepared for outdoor or indoor sessions.

Attention any grade 12s who would be interested in doing the Toast to the Teachers or Toast to the Parents at the grad dinner, please sign up with Ms. Gosselin by Thursday April 23rd.

Reminder to all JT Grads 2015 - Cap and Gown rentals are $25 and due by May 1st.
John Taylor Collegiate is now open to receiving online payments for Grad Cap and Gown 2015.   Please visit the John Taylor Website and click on Grad 2015.  All the information you need regarding grad will be there.

Grad dinner tickets will also be available for online purchase in the near future. Please see the school website and listen for synervoice messages for updates.

A new scholarship is available for a lucky grade 12 student.  The John Taylor Take Action Scholarship.  This $100 scholarship will be awarded to a student who has initiated a Take Action Project that makes a difference in the lives of other students and their community.
The Take Action Project must be meaningful to students, and related to issues that are important, relevant and personally significant.Please see Mrs. Palmer for the application.  Deadline is April 28th.

Please see Mrs. Palmer if you are interested in applying for the JT 50th Reunion Scholarship.  The Criteria includes: very good attendance, academic achievement (over 70%), highly involved in student life either in arts, athletics and serves other students as a part of the student council or other group serving our student body.  This student must demonstrate great school spirit.

We have another scholarship opportunity for grads this year.  This $200 is available to students whose parents are members of Merit Manitoba.  For more information, please see Ms. Grant.
Reminder to all Grads – Please hand in all your forms that were distributed to you during your Grade Level Meeting last Friday, April 10th.
