Attention all students: If you are in Grade 9 or 10 and are interested in taking part of the Free the Children Social Justice Trip in 2015-2016, there will be a brief meeting today at 12:03 in room 209 to discuss some final details for this year.
Just a reminder that by the end of day today, your lock must be locked on the hasp so the door remains open.
Registration forms for summer school are available in the office for students who have not successfully completed a course or wish to improve a passing grade.
Courses are $200 each and the deadline for registration is Friday July 4th.

Locker clean out is today Friday from 10:45 -11:00. Students, if you need to use your locker after Friday, you can but on Monday the lock must be locked on the hasp so the door remains open.
Attention girls soccer team, we will be taking a photo for the yearbook today. Please meet in gym C with your Jersey on. If you turned in your jersey one will be provided.

If you are curious about being in Drum Line next year come down to the Band Room today at lunch. We will be having pizza and a jam session. Come watch the Drum line play and then join them for some fun. You do not have to be a drummer to join, just a sense of adventure.

Say cheese! Today is our grade 12 rooftop photo at 10:50 am in the court yard. All Grade 12 students and teachers should be in the courtyard between period 2 and 3; as this picture forms our Grad program cover.
Tomorrow is the last day to buy the Little Mermaid DVD. Please see Mrs. Olko if you would like to purchase one.
Congratulations to the Piper track team who competed at the Provincial Championships over the weekend. The team was led by Danielle S who placed 7th in the 3000 meters and Silas F who placed 9th. Great job to all who competed this year!
A big thank you to Ms. Botincan for arranging the dance performance at the Manitoba Theatre for Young People on Friday night. The JT dance students did a great job and the audience loved them.

Congratulations to Taylor C. Shay J., Larissa J. Taryn M., and Bela G. for auditioning for this year’s valedictorian. It was a difficult decision but, the class of 2014’s valedictorian is Taryn M.

The John Taylor Collegiate Art and Photography Show will take place today in Gym C. It starts after school and runs until 8:30. There are over 200 artists and photographers from JT represented in the show, so please come by and take a look.

Attention all band students- We will be having our first mass rehearsal in period 2 today. At the beginning of period 2 please come directly to the band room. Seating charts will be on the wall. Please put your case on the shelf so we have room to walk.
Attention Varsity Ultimate Frisbee Team, your team photo will take place today at 12:10 in Gym A/B. Bring your jersey
Any girls from girls soccer please return your Jersery to Ms. Armistead asap if you haven't already done so.

Cassandra L., Lisa F., Braden W. and Jayden N. went to the Manitoba High School 5 Pin Bowling Tournament- very happy to say that they came in 3rd place!! Bowling a combined 2881 in four games.
Any students in grade 9 or 10 who are interested in going on the 2016 Me to We trip must contact Mr. Lockhart before Tuesday, June 3rd.
To all Piper Athletes our Sports Awards Banquet is tonight at 4:15. The awards portion will take place in the theatre followed by dinner. Tickets are $12 and include your dinner. Tickets can be purchased from the office or the Phys Ed Staff

Assiniboine Park Conservancy is now recruiting students for summer volunteering in the park and zoo. If you would like more information or are interested in applying, please see the office.
Please note that registration forms for summer school are available in the office for students who have not successfully completed a course or wish to improve a passing grade.
Courses are $200 each and the deadline for registration is Friday July 4th.

Manitoba High School 5 Pin Bowling Tournament
Cassandra L. ,Lisa F., Braden W. and Jayden N participated in the Manitoba High School 5 Pin Bowling Tournament- very happy to say that they came in 3rd place!! Bowling a combined 2881 in four games.
Way to go!
