October is LGBT History Month:On July 20, 2005, Canada became the fourth country in the world, and the first country outside Europe, to legalize same-sex marriage. Did you know that in recent polls, about 70% of voters under the age of 30 support same-sex marriage?

There will be a Parent Safe Grad Meeting on Thursday Oct 9th @ 8:00 p.m. in the JT Theatre.
Attention Grade 12 students - The U of M will be here today during period 1 in the theatre. Please report to your class for attendance. There will also be an evening for parents on October 9 at 7 pm.
Way to go to the grade 12 grads that fundraised over $1000.00. Reminder that pick up of produce from peak of the market will be Thursday October 9 from 3:45 to 5 pm. Please make sure you are there or you make arrangements for someone to pick up your order.
Group and team yearbook photos will be taken on Tuesday, October 14 at lunch in gym C. If you are a member of the following team or group you should be there with your uniform to get your picture taken - Cross Country, all volleyball teams, boys hockey, ultimate, curling, student council, youth in philanthropy and yearbook committee
