Congratulations to the Pipers hockey team who defeated Oak Park to win the Husky Classic championship for the second time in three years. The Pipers were down 1 goal in the third period and pulled their goalie, when Shane B. scored on a rebound to tie the game with 5 seconds remaining. And in overtime, "Captain Clutch" Wyatt K. scored to give the Pipers the tournament victory. Jacob G. recorded 31 stops and received the Golden Wrench for his efforts in goal. The Pipers next game is tomorrow night at 6:20 back at the MTS Iceplex against the St.Pauls Crusaders.
