Congratulations to the piper cross country team who competed against over 500 athletes yesterday at the provincial championships. The team was led by Levi F and Danielle S who were 2 of the top 30 finishers. Strong races were also run by Kyle C, Silas F and Emanuel A. Great job!
October is LGBT History Month. On November 9 1986, Raymond Blain is elected to Montreal City Council in the 1986 municipal election, becoming the first openly gay politician ever elected to office in Canada.

SAFE GRAD is a fun and safe after-grad party planned and organized by the parents of graduates. That safe celebration, known as SAFE GRAD, is now widely accepted and is an integral part of graduation in nearly all Manitoba high schools. The official slogan is “It’s your graduation....get home safe” The NEXT MEETING is Tuesday October 21 @ 6:30 in the JTC Theatre.
