Attention all Pipers: Today is Conscious Kindness Day in Winnipeg. Today, go an extra step to show kindness to others. Smile, say hello to someone new, help someone in need. Take care of one another, and be kind to one another. Check out United Way's Conscious Kindness Campaign for other great ways to show kindness to those around you.

A HUGE congratulations to the Girls Handball team who defeated Dakota last night to earn the Bronze medal.

There are a handful of graduating students that need to submit your convocation write-up to the Office. If you have not hand in your write up, please see Mrs. Palmer or the office if you have any questions.  Information can include: favorite JT memory, plans for next year and thank yous to people who supported, encouraged or inspired you.

John Taylor Collegiate Annual Arts show is takes place today. Artwork and photography from your very own very talented Pipers will be on display from 4:30 - 8:30 pm in Gym C.  Dance recital will begin at 7 pm in Gym AB.

Art Club will take place today after school in the art room.  Everyone is welcome!

All grads - the Safe Grad Tickets will be available Thursday June 11 and 12 from 12:10 - 12:45 in the front link.  Reminder that the ticket for Grads is covered by fundraising but the guest tickets are $10.00 each. All Safe Grad forms must be submitted to the office before you can get your tickets.

Attention grade 11 and 12 students, on Friday June 5th River City Ford is partnering up with John Taylor Collegiate to conduct a test-drive fundraising event. For every valid test-drive completed, Ford Motor Company of Canada will donate $20 to the participating community partner - up to $6,000 total!  Pre register with Ms. Paragg in room 109. All proceeds are in support of Free the Children's Me to We Service Trip.

Attention any graduating students who are planning to attend the University of Manitoba.  There is a $5000 Bursary for students with a minimum average of 80% and who can demonstrate that they are in financial need based on a government student loan assessment. Please see Mrs. Palmer if you have any questions.

Any students who have parking pass for the student parking please return to the office ASAP.  You will still be allowed to park in the student lot after you have returned the pass for the remainder of the school year.

Informnet Summer School Registration will be available until Tuesday July 7, 2015. Cost is $200 for each course.  The online summer school program is open to all students in Manitoba who have not successfully completed a course during the school year or to students who wish to improve a passing grade.  Forms are available online with www.informnet.mb.ca or see Mrs. Palmer at the office.
