The University of Toronto is holding an International Biology competition - similar to math contests held earlier this year. The aim of the competition is to provide all high school students with an opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding of biology. Scholarships to the University of Toronto, cash, and certificates of high achievement are available for the top competitors. The competition assumes a knowledge of Grades 11 and 12 Biology.  If you have completed Gr. 12 biology last year or first semester this year, please see Mrs. Shepherd in room 307 to sign up.  Registrations are due Friday, March 6.

Are you between the ages of 15 and 18?  Meet with youth from across the province and learn more about yourself and others at a Co-op Youth Leadership retreat.  A Co-op Youth Leadership retreat is your chance to develop leadership skills, and learn about cross cultural issues, global development and co-ops, all in a beautiful camp setting.  Please see Ms. Grant in the guidance office for more details.

Attention Grads:  Another fundraiser opportunity is soon approaching.  Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser breakfast is taking place on March 21st from 8-10 a.m.  Tickets are $10 and 60% of the proceeds will be donated to Grad 2015.  Tickets go on sale March 12, 16-18th during the lunch hour.
Grad Photo re-takes take place on Thursday, March 26th.  Sign-up sheet is available in the office.

Need Volunteer Hours?  There is a great opportunity coming up for students to earn hours.  Volunteers are needed for the Festival of Fools and Kidsfest.  Please see the office for more details.

The Pro Shop at St. Charles Country Club is looking for outgoing and energetic students to join their team of employees in a friendly and fun golf services environment.  The position includes golf privileges on a limited basis and discounts on golf merchandise.
