There is an important Student Council meeting today at lunch.

Attention all Pipers - our Spring Dance is being held on Thursday, March 12th from 7pm - 10:30pm.
Tickets are $5.00 each. If you are member of a gym blast team, you will earn points for your team. The team to sell the most tickets and attend the dance will win this round of competition.
Tickets will be on sale Thursday in the front link. Don't miss out on this great event!

Attention all students signed up for Mathletics. March is Mathletic Madness! For every correct answer on Mathletic lessons, tests and live competitions, you earn points towards prizes (including a tablet) in the national competition.  At John Taylor we will have weekly draws for a $5 canteen credit, T-shirts, water bottles and more.  The highest point leader from JT at the end of March will receive a grand prize of a T.i. 84 graphing calculator valued at $180.

Gym Blast Teams are now posted outside of Ms. Paragg’s room, room 109.  If you name is missing, please she Ms. Paragg as soon as possible.

Would you like to join J.T.’s Art Club?  Come out to the first one this Wednesday @ 3:30 in the ART room.  Bring your imagination and a friend and let’s make some awesome ART.  See Mrs. Franklin for more information.

The University of Toronto is holding an International Biology competition - similar to math contests held earlier this year. The aim of the competition is to provide all high school students with an opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding of biology. Scholarships to the University of Toronto, cash, and certificates of high achievement are available for the top competitors. The competition assumes a knowledge of Grades 11 and 12 Biology.  If you have completed Gr. 12 biology last year or first semester this year, please see Mrs. Shepherd in room 307 to sign up.  Registrations are due Friday, March 6.

Attention Grads:  Another fundraiser opportunity is coming up.  Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser breakfast is taking place on March 21st from 8-10 a.m.  Tickets are $10 and 60% of the proceeds will be donated to Grad 2015.  Tickets go on sale March 12, 16-18th during the lunch hour.

Grad Photo re-takes take place on Thursday, March 26th.  Sign-up sheet is available in the office.
