Are you in Grade 11 and who like to be considered for the United Way Service Award?
The United Way Service Award is given to one Grade 11 student in each participating High School in Winnipeg. Award recipients are students who set an example for others by: Volunteering, Motivating other students to get involved and Connect and work with others to make a difference in our community.  Please see Mrs Palmer for an application to be considered for the United Way Service Award.

Piper Hockey Rookie Team Sign-up is posted outside room 204. Please sign up if you are interested, more info to follow.

If you’re a high-school student or 2015 graduate to be, you’re eligible to work for Winnipeg’s premier advertising firm, McKim, for the summer of 2015 in our second annual Get Out of the Basement campaign. You can be part of a dynamic team of your peers helping spread the word about some of the cool things we have to do in and around Winnipeg all summer long.We’re looking for people with communication, social media and digital media interests — everything from being in front of the camera to behind the keyboard. If you’re into video, video games, social media, theatre or music this is probably a good place for you to learn to explore work options that relate your interests and talents. By the end of the summer, you’ll have had a powerful work experience, attended many fun events and have a great job history to put on your resume.  Stop by the office for more details.

Reminder to Grads that the Mom’s pantry orders need to be handed in to Mrs. Penner room 113 no later than 3:30 on Wednesday, Mar 25.  Please make sure your name in listed as the seller on each order form turned in.

Spirit week takes place this week. Today is Hat Day.  Make a dollar donation to wear your favourite hat. This week is I Love Science Week.  Did you know that…The most dangerous animal in the world is the common housefly.  Because of their habits of visiting animal waste, they transmit more disease than any other animal.

Come out and support the soccer team today at 5p.m. at Canlan in the quarter finals.

Thank you to all grads and their family and friends for coming out to support the Applebee’s fundraiser.  It was awesome!
