Just a reminder to students that completed registration forms are due today. However, we are accepting until the latest, after the holiday Monday, on Tuesday, February 17th.
Report cards will be distributed today. Grade 11 students will pick up their report cards at 10:45 in the theatre. Grade 12 students will pick up their report cards at 10:45 in the library. Grade 9 students will pick up their report cards at 3:20 in the library and Grade 10 students will pick up their report cards in the theatre at 3:20. Please make sure that you have paid any outstanding fees.
There are ample opportunities to be published and win cash prizes for your writing. Any student wanting to enter writing contests, please see Mr. Marquart.
Semester one graphic tech students can pick up the projects from Mr. Kutcy ASAP!
A bus has been arranged to take us from JT to the blood services building on Friday February 20 at 9:00 and 10:00. If you are 17 years of age or older and can donate blood, please come by the office to sign up and get your fieldtrip forms. See Mrs. Palmer if you have any questions.
Attention Grads: One last chance to order Grad clothing. Action Apparel will be here on Wed. Feb. 25th and Thurs. Feb. 26th at lunch hour to take orders for grad hoodies or sweats.
Grad photos will take place on Feb. 17-20 & 23. Please see the office to book your time slot and to pick up an information sheet. For those students you have a full schedule, noon hours slots are available. As well, there is a $20 sitting fee due at the time of your scheduled appointment.
On February 19, 2015, the Safe Grad Committee will be at John Taylor from 5:30pm to 7:00pm for ticket sales for the March 7th Bud Spud and Steak Safe Grad Fundraiser. Purchase your tickets on this night, both support and/or dinner, and you will get one ballot per ticket for a chance to win two tickets to the March 19, 2015 JETS GAME against St. Louis Blues.
Draw will be done at the end of the ticket sales. Any grads attending also have to purchase tickets. If are under 18, you can still attend, but must leave the premises of TYC by 9pm.
Just a reminder that there is a Grad Committee members meeting today at lunch hour.
Attention all Pipers! The theme of this year's Gym Blast will be based on the Divergent Series. Sign-up sheets are found by Ms. Paragg's room, room 109. Deadline to join a team is tomorrow. Don't miss out on one of the largest school events of the year!
