Pizza Party for Physics

Thank you to Mr. Francis and his classes for taking part in the 2014 Spaghetti Bridge Competition on March 15, 2014 at Kildonan Place Shopping Centre. They have announced that based on the bridges that all the students built, the combined weight held was 15,618lbs. We donated that to Winnipeg Harvest $1/lb and they turn it around 20x with their buying power. With matching donations from Peak of the Market and Canada Safeway, Winnipeg Harvest received a donation of over 343,500 lbs of food from the students bridges!   Congratulations to all who took part!  John Taylor students have qualified for a Pizza Party.
