JT Announcements for March 17, 2014

Congratulations to the JT JV Boys Basketball team. They defeated Garden City 65-61 to become 2014 AAAA Provincial Champs. The All-Star was Ricki Z., and the MVP was James W. Thanks to the hundreds of fans who turned out to show their support.

Thanks to all the staff and students who worked hard to put together a great Variety Show. It was a great success enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to the Piper track team who competed at the Provincial Championships. The team was led by Danielle S. who placed 4th in the 1500 meters.

The following JT students won a cool $100 at this weekend’s spaghetti bridge contest:

Congrats Taylor L. and Shyneice M. on winning Nationals in the URCC Cheerleading Championships in Regina.

Any students interested in playing for Team Manitoba Floorball, please attend the following tryout dates:

March 17, 18, 24, 25 from 4-6 pm at Sturgeon Heights.

The team will be playing in the Canada Cup May 15-18. Contact Mr. Sobkowicz for more details.

Josten’s will be here on Wednesday March 19 for ring fittings from 11:00 – 1:30. Please see the office to schedule a time.

There is an important meeting for anyone interested in joining the Boys or Girls Golf team this year. This important meeting will take place with Mr. Smith in the Gym on Wednesday at lunch at 12:03. It of the utmost importance that you attend this meeting if you want to play on the Golf team this year.

There will be a Yearbook meeting on Thursday at lunch. Please bring your lunch and meet in room 304 immediately after the bell. The Friesen’s rep will be here.
