JT Announcements for March 20, 2014

Attention all Grade 9 and 10 hockey players: Anyone interested in trying out for the Piper Rookie Hockey team please go to Mr. Steeves room in room 109 at 12:03 for a brief meeting.

Grad Photo retakes will take place all day today and tomorrow morning. Please see the office to book your appointment.

There will be a Yearbook meeting today at lunch. Please bring your lunch and meet in room 304 immediately after the bell. The Friesen’s rep will be here.

Handball tryouts start next week in Gym A/B. Boys tryouts take place Tuesday and Thursday at 7:15 pm. Girls tryouts take place Monday at 7:15 pm and Wednesday at 5:30 pm.

Locker cleanup will take place next Wednesday morning.

Any Grade 11 or 12 students interested in entering an essay writing competition, please see Mr. Marquart. The topic is "Are social media making us anti-social"? The prize for the winning essay is $1000. The deadline is April 14th.
