JT Announcements January 16, 2014

Students who have misplaced their second semester timetable need to make arrangements in the office to have another schedule printed next week or during exam week.

Would all female ringette and hockey players please meet in Mr. Steeves room, room 109 at 12:03 for a brief meeting.

There is a very important yearbook meeting today at noon.

Any Grade 9, 10 and 11 students' who want to write this year's math contests for Pascal, Cayley or Fermat and don't have math this semester are asked to see Mr. Goetz in Room 211 to register. Students who have math this semester and wish to register, please talk to your math teacher.

Students wanting a 2013 - 2014 Yearbook should check the list in the front link. If your name is not on that list, that means you have not paid for a yearbook and won't be able to get one. Please check the list and make sure that you are not disappointed! If your name is not on the list, bring $20 in to the office before the end of the month. You will not be able to buy one later, this is your last chance to get your John Taylor 50th Anniversary Edition Yearbook!

The French oratorical speaking competition will take place here at John Taylor Collegiate in March.  Please see Ms. Armistead if you would like to participate or volunteer.

Do you want to travel somewhere in Canada and learn French this summer?  See Ms. Armistead in room 303 if you'd like to know more.  You do NOT have to take French to apply.

John Taylor will be collecting old and used sports clothing and equipment for KidSport Canada, to be given to underprivileged kids in Manitoba. Lists of most needed items will be posted, however all items will be accepted. You can drop off all donations in the office. Thank you for helping in need kids to play the sports we all love.
