Did you know....
that impaired and distracted driving are the leading contributing factors in fatal collisions in Manitoba.
impaired driving by alcohol, drugs or fatigue, is a factor in almost 1/3 of ALL fatal collisions in Manitoba.
In light of the seriousness of this issue TADD Manitoba has worked with the JTC TADD student group, the Manitoba School Boards Association and Manitoba Public Insurance made arrangements for Kevin Brooks to present to the students and staff at John Taylor Collegiate. Kevin spoke to the students about the dangers associated with impaired driving and the ramifications of the choices that are made. He shared his personal perspective on this issue as a survivor of an impaired driving collision. His message and insights were thought provoking. The JTC TADD students have committed to support his message by having students sign the Friends for Life Banner. This banner will be on display at the school as a constant reminder to make good decisions. In addition, the TADD group will be distributing Friends for Life cards that have phone numbers if a student needs a safe ride home. Students have been asked to complete the following questionnaire to provide feedback. The survey link is https://fluidsurvey.com/s/f412014.
