Announcements for November 17, 2014

This week is Anti-Bullying Awareness Week. According to Canada Bullying Statistics, 64% of kids have been bullied at school. This week, we will stand together as a school community against bullying and harassment.  Be sure to stop by the library and check out the book display.

Today staff and students will be receiving their Pay it forward Bracelet. Please remember that the bracelet on your wrist serves as a reminder to initiate kindness rather than wait for it to happen.  It is a simple reminder to help others out.  When you receive a “Thank You” for whatever you have done, remove the bracelet and ask the person to “PAY IT FORWARD.” By asking the recipient of your kindness to pay it forward, you ensure that your gesture does not stop there. Ask them to remove the bracelet and do the same for someone else.

There will be a workout today in gym c after school. See Mr. Loewen if you are interested.
URGENT! The JT girls curling team needs one more curler. Anyone that would like to join the team should please see Mr. Kutcy as soon as possible.
