JT Announcements for February 20, 2014

Grad Photos begin today. Just a reminder that appointments were to be booked during a spare, not during class time.

Attention members of Senior Band - We perform tonight at the Optimist Festival. You need to be at the Winnipeg Convention Centre at 6:30pm wearing black concert dress. Make sure you come to the band room at the end of the day and get your instrument and music.

Boy's Hockey Team starts a best of 3 with Shaftsbury today at 4:15 at Varsity View Arena. Good Luck Pipers!

Congratulations to the JV Boys Basketball team who won the Kelvin tournament with a 25 point victory over Sisler. Congratulations to Luis M. who was an all-star and James W. the MVP.  Great job Pipers!

Congratulations to the JV Girls Basketball team who were consolation champs in the Kildonan East Tournament over the weekend.  Come cheer them on today as they face Vincent Massey at 4:30 here at JT.  --
Would all student council members see Ms. Paragg in room 210 following the announcements? This will be a short 5 minute meeting.

Boys soccer practice is cancelled tonight.

There will be a mandatory Youth in Philanthropy meeting Wednesday, Feb.19th at 12:00pm in the theatre. A representative from The Winnipeg Foundation will be here. Please see Ms. Paragg if you cannot attend.

Musical practice at 12:30 today for all waiters, waitresses, mersisters, Chef Louis, Sebastian, Ariel and Eric.

Tomorrow at 12:30 for royalty boys, royalty girls, princesses, and mersisters.

Students who are new to John Taylor this semester can go to the Photo Lab in room 305 during period 2 on Thursday, February 20 to get their photo taken for their school ID.

There is a very important yearbook meeting this Thursday at 12 noon. Please bring your lunch. The Friesen's reps will be there.

Attention all pipers, sign-up sheets for this year's annual Gym Blast are posted outside Ms.Paragg's room, room 210. We would like to have teams made by next week so that we can add in some new competitions throughout the month of March. Don't miss out on the chance to participate in one of the largest school events! See Ms. Paragg if you have any questions.
