JT Announcements for February 11, 2014

Anyone interested in creating, writing or producing movies please meet Mrs. James today in room 313 at lunch.

There will be a brief but important meeting for all track athletes going to the first meet today at lunch in Mr. Loewen's room.

Attention all students: Do you remember when you filled in your matchmaker form last month? Well, the results are in just in time for Valentine's Day! Matchmaker results will be on sale from tomorrow Feb 11 till Friday February 14th. It only costs $2 to find out who you are matched up with! See you in the front link at lunch.

There will be a GSA meeting today in the art room at 12:03. Please bring your lunch.

Boy's Soccer: a reminder that you have a game today and you should leave your 6th period class at 3:10pm.  Please meet up in the front link to arrange a ride with your teammates or see Ms. Armistead at the lunch hour to arrange a ride.  You ALSO have a game on Wednesday at Canlan at 4:10pm. If you need to arrange a ride speak to Ms. Armistead or a teammate.

There will be a quick meeting for all Peer Mentors on Wednesday at lunch in room 111.

Anyone interested in helping with the decorations for the Grade 12 Variety Show, please see Mrs. Memka Wednesday at 12:10 in the art room. If there are no volunteers, there will not be any decorations

Would the students who wish to volunteer for the French speaking competition please see Ms. Armistead on Thursday at 12:03pm.

Any students who have not yet received their registration form for next year can pick it up from the office. Forms are due back Friday, February 14.

Did you know that 1 in 3 teens between the ages of 16-24 are homeless? The most requested article of clothing is pairs of jeans. John Taylor will be collecting for Teens for Jeans. Bring in lightly worn jeans to room 210 this week to help out the teens of Winnipeg.

Attention all grads: Please be sure to be selling your Sobey's Cards this week. All funds need to be in Feb 18-21st. Your help is really needed so we can afford to make our grad the best it can be!
