Congratulations to Taylor C. Shay J., Larissa J. Taryn M., and Bela G. for auditioning for this year’s valedictorian. It was a difficult decision but, the class of 2014’s valedictorian is Taryn M.

The John Taylor Collegiate Art and Photography Show will take place today in Gym C. It starts after school and runs until 8:30. There are over 200 artists and photographers from JT represented in the show, so please come by and take a look.
Aboriginal Awareness Day at John Taylor is on Thursday June 5th. Come join us in the courtyard at lunch and enjoy some live music, crafts, including soap stone carvings, and Free lunch. It is first come first serve so get there early and enjoy some aboriginal culture.
Library books are due back by June 6th. Students who have outstanding books, fees, fines or other charges must clear their account before a report card or a timetable will be issued.

If you are interested in participating in the Piper Overnighter, this Friday, June 6th, please pick up your permission forms from Ms. Paragg in room 210. You must collect a minimum of $30.00 pledges / donations to participate. All proceeds are due today to Ms. Paragg.

Cystic Fibrosis is holding a car wash on June 7th at the Carstar Collision Centre on Henderson Hwy from 10 – 2 pm. They are looking for 10 volunteers; anyone interested please see Kayla Hodgins.
Smile! We have confirmed the Grade 12 roof top photo for Monday June 9th at 11:00. If you are interested in purchasing a copy, the order forms are available in the office. Forms must be handed in prior to the photo shoot.
Assiniboine Park Conservancy is now recruiting students for summer volunteering in the park and zoo. If you would like more information or are interested in applying, please see the office.
Please note that there is an error on the monthly school calendar regarding early dismissals. There is no early dismissal on June 10th. It is classes as usual.
Please note that registration forms for summer school are available in the office for students who have not successfully completed a course or wish to improve a passing grade.
Courses are $200 each and the deadline for registration is Friday July 4th.
