Boys Hockey Team defeated Murdock McKay to win the best of 3 series 5 to 2 last night, We will start a best of 3 next week against College Louis Riel in the semi finals. Strong goaltending by Dylan M. and great play by many players helped secure the win. Go Pipers!
This Saturday, February 27th 2016, HMCS CHIPPAWA, Winnipeg’s Naval Reserve unit is holding its annual JOB FAIR from 11 Am to 3 Pm.  This event showcases what the Naval Reserve does here in our local area, and across Canada.  This is also a great opportunity for high school students aged 16 and older, in grade 11 or higher to be able to secure excellent part-time and summer employment.  Students that join have the opportunity to make over $7000.00 for this summer, as well as receive tuition reimbursement for post-secondary education, travel Canada, and so much more.  Please see the guidance counsellor or student services for further information.
ATTENTION ULTIMATE PLAYERS:
There will be a quick information meeting in Room 212 Monday, February 29 at 12:05. Please see Ms. Kubas or Mrs. Bergmuller if you are unable to attend this important meeting.
All students involved in French, photography and visual arts programs are invited to meet to discuss the Trip to France in 2017. The meeting will take place Tuesday, March 1st, at lunch, in the Art Room.

Any students interested in careers in Arts, Graphic design, painters, 3D designers the U of M School of Art is having an Open House this weekend.  Please see the office for more detail!

High School Hockey Rookie Tournament sign-up is posted outside of room 105. This is for all hockey players in grade 9 and 10. Information about the tournament is posted next to the sign up sheet. Please sign up as soon as possible.
The 7 T’s group that meets with Ms. Grant and Mr. Johnson is cancelled for tomorrow.  There will be no group tomorrow in the theatre at 10:10.
Just a reminder to all grade 12's that the EPH Apparel Fitting event is today from 4:30-8:00 pm in the library for those students interested in a custom made suit for $350.
There will be a practice today for the Girls Softball Team at 8:00 PM in Gym A/B.

Attention All 2016 Grads!!  A reminder to come to the office and book your grad photos!  The dates are fast approaching.  There are time slots available for all days starting February 23rd through 26th.  Also, the grad write up slips are also available in the office.
Interested in saving someone's life?  If so, please come to Gym C at lunch hour to include yourself in the global stem cell and bone marrow registry.  Every minute of every day a person is in need of a potentially lifesaving stem cell or bone marrow transplant - and you may be the answer!  If you are 17 years old or older, all it takes is a simple cheek swab and you're on the list! See you at lunch in Gym C!
Art Club starts up again for second semester on Thursday February 18, 3:30 – 5:00.  Everyone is welcome!!  Come out if you need help with an Art Project, a drawing component from another class, or just want to work on a personal project.  Bring a friend!  See Mrs. Franklin for more information.
Term 2 weight room orientation will take place on Tuesday, February 16th. See Mr Bruce or Mr Vermette for more details.
Intramurals this week will be ultimate. Come join us for open gym and sign up a team! Games will start next week.
